This poem deserves some explanation to provide a little context. In a poetry class, a fellow student made a comment about two things not belonging together. In order to illustrate his idea, he came up with the Toaster fridge off the fly, saying that while you could make a toaster fridge and have those two appliances put together, why would you? The image stuck and for the rest of the semester we referenced the toaster fridge. This poem honors that great legacy.
