Waves of Words

Pages turn to the sway of the sea,
Another wave rolls,
Another chapter closes.
Tranquil futures reflect
Like stars on dark mirrors,
Bright hopes by which to guide.
Turbulent times correspond,
Tear-stained letters,
With tempest torn swells.
Golden memories gilded
In timed burnishing passage,
Just as brilliant rays of sun
Alighting on the bronze-blue water.
The end has no companion
For in truth there is no end at all,
Every story an unending ocean,
Words and foam
Fading into the eternal horizon. Ω
