Times beginning marked
A fundamental drive:
To understand the heavens vast,
To comprehend; all strive.
Ample description exists there none
To paint the satin sky.
Yet, still men search
To see the celestial perch
Of the flawless sky.
All searching is vain,
They do not realize,
They are too direct for the eye,
Sight not capturing the magic in the sky.
From the corner of one's sight
Comes the best view of the night;
A peripheral glance of space
Will not vanish without a trace.
So when gazing at the jewels of night
Laying on the silken dark,
Open your mind and widen your sight,
And see the true heavenly spark. Ω
